Polish parishes and communities grew in Texas beginning in 1854 at Panna Maria, followed soon by Bandera, Cestohowa, Falls City, Kosciusko, McCook, White Deer, Yorktown, St. Hedwig, Inez, Las Gallinas, Bremond, Chappell Hill, Austin, Dallas, Houston, and El Paso.
